2 Add an integer field "sequence" in the article record. This can be used to build de sequence in both front end and published KB
Featured articles are also not displayed higher in the published database. This should also be the case.

But the sequence should be identical to the front end. This way step by step help can be made, news can be shown in a logical sequence etc.
See my suggestion for sorting the front end by using a numeric field, elsewhere in this forum.
