Add ordering of the articles inside the category
Now it is kind of torture to create step-by-step how-to categories because articles inside the category can be ordered by name, date and rating only. But it will be extremely useful (at least for me) if it would be possible to set custom ordering.

Usage stats per user (reading and downloading activity) is key to control abnormal activity by users
I work for a business consulting firm. For us, due to confidentiality issues, it is key to know if any user is downloading and reading "too much". Also, we would like to know if the users (specific users) are using the tool.

undo / redo when making article.
its really annoying that there is no undo redo button when making article, for layman its hard, simple addon for programmers but must have 95% are used to MS word undo/ redo button.

Allow attachments to be edited within the tool. As opposed to downloading, saving locally, deleting, then attaching the new article. This approach does not support a company trying to discourage documents being saved locally.

OpenSearch standards with RSS output
Implement OpenSearch 1.1 standards with RSS output so KMP articles can be integrated into the Windows 7 search box via federated search using a search connector description file (.osdx).

Search for articles that match all selected categories
I would like to see the articles that match ALL the selected categories, not at least one.
For example: if article A belongs to category A, article B belongs to category B and article C belongs to categories A and B and I select both categories, only article C would appear.

When text is pasted give option to "Keep source formatting" or "Match destination formatting"
Similar to the way MS Office products work. When text is pasted into an artcile, give option to "Keep source formatting" or "Match destination formatting".

Sort the results with the search term in the title first
It would be helpful if the search results would sort the results with the search term in the title first, then in the body, then in the attachment. The title is where our users are looking for terms primarily.

Allow attachments to be copied for ease in e-mailing externally
Instead of downloading, saving the file locally then attaching the file to an e-mail, we'd like to right click and COPY the attachment and be able to paste into an e-mail string.

The sequence of articles in "published" knowledge base
At this moment the sequence of the articles can be influenced on the front end of the knowledge base. When the publish function it is used, it is NOT possible to influence the sequence. This should also be the case.
Two solutions:
1 use the same sequence in published knowledge bases as in the front end
2 Add an integer field "sequence" in the article record. This can be used to build de sequence in both front end and published KBFeatured articles are also not displayed higher in the published database. This should also be the case.

automatically activate the cursor in the username field on the login page
Whenever you go to the admin interface for KMP, it should automatically put the cursor in the username field so you don't have to click it before typing.
